This Epiphone Dove is a beautiful transparent red finish that still lets the wood's beautiful grain show through.  The Epiphone Dove guitar is still being sold today but only in natural finish.  It features a bound Maple body, solid Spruce top, set Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fretboard with gorgeous mother-of-pearl looking split parallelogram inlays. It's topped off with Chrome tuners that have almost light jade colored buttons that mimic the shape of the inlaid mother-of-pearl looking emblem on the head. It also has inlaid mother-of-pearl looking dove wings on the stylized Rosewood bridge, but perhaps the most distinctive feature is the beautiful signature white dove graphic on the pickguard.  The red color body with off white binding and fretboard edges, white dove and dove wings on the bridge really stands out.  It's a guitar people notice when you play it.  And not for the looks alone, it has a full sound but with some "spark" not flat sounding.
